SAFETY FIRST!
All SceneScope® Advance RUVIS Devices include eye and skin protection devices against UV radiations.  All RUVIS devices include lamps that emit high-intensity shortwave ultraviolet.  Exposure to these wavelengths of radiation, even reflected or diffuse, can result in serious, and sometimes irreversible, eye and skin injuries.  Never aim the shortwave UV lamp at anyone. Never look directly into the shortwave UV lamp.  Always wear appropriate eye and skin protection when using
ANY RUVIS Device.

Objective lens: Fused Silica elements, 60mm focal length, Nikon mount.

Filter: 254nm with 40nm bandwidth.

UV Lamp: 6W/12W Switchable – Ability to run on both 12V Internal Rechargeable Battery and 110 AC Current

Carrying Case: Hard Sided, Pelican Case.  Rugged enough to be checked as baggage on commercial air carriers.

 

Safety Devices: Eye and Skin UV protection with Goggles, (gloves and clothing to be provided by users)
