RUVIS Applications

Detection of Latent fingerprints ; Untreated or fumed with Cyanoacrylate. Bite marks and bruising, shoe impressions or dusty residue, explosive residues.

SceneScope UV imager

SceneScope, the most trusted name in RUVIS, has for 4 years been the cutting edge of fingerprint detection technology. Designed, researched and manufactured by SPEX, the SceneScope revolutionizes fingerprint detection by allowing for the visualization of latent prints without any prior treatment. Primarily used on smooth, non-porous surfaces, the SceneScope features unsurpassed background rejection. Indeed the SceneScope allows for the detection of latents on surfaces that have historically resisted or been found difficult to process. Digital Imaging Applications

Fingerprint and palmprint enhancement, ink differentiation, forged documents.

CDIS – CrimeScope Digital Imaging System

CDIS is a PC based system that utilizes both optical and digital enhancement. While other systems rely heavily on the software to enhance the images captured, CDIS eliminates many of the lengthy enhancement processes by capturing the best possible images optically. The CDIS can be configured with a range of different cameras, from low cost video to high sensitivity, cooled detectors. Additionally, the system contains more optical filters than any other comparable system on the market today.

As for digital enhancement we are proud to introduce ImaQuest, a software unlike any other in regards to simplicity and ease of use.  It includes the ability to employ digital filters, local equalization, FFT, true Image Background Subtraction, and a host of other enhancements.

PrintQuest AFIS/APIS

PC based or Server/Workstation version

Today, a powerful PC based computer system that is affordable enough to allow any department to search their ten print cards, latent lifts and PALM cards while retaining control and ownership of its own database.

PrintQuest is a complete system utilizing the latest hardware and powerful software that can be configured to any departments card file size up to 850,000 ten prints, or more.

With its high accuracy minutiae extraction, PrintQuest can be configured for various sizes of databases, and interfaces with major brand Livescan systems.
